The charming Diana’s Cottage is a lovely family and couple friendly two bedroom holiday home situated just outside the popular North Devon village of Braunton, which is fondly known as the gateway to North Devon’s golden coastline made up of the award-winning beaches Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe.
The cottage, which sleeps up to five guests, is located on one of Braunton oldest farming estates and is within easy reach of many of North Devon’s main attractions, as well as the Tarka Trail and South West Coast Path.
Sit back and relax in the bright and airy living room. With a high vaulted beamed ceiling, this room effortlessly combines character charm with your modern day comforts. There are two large comfy sofas, as well as a smart TV and dvd player.
Steps lead up from the living room to the well-equipped kitchen, which features a good range of appliances needed to enjoy a self-catering holiday in North Devon, including a fridge, a chest freezer, an electric cooker with hob, a washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave. A highlight of the kitchen is the cottage’s very own AGA (electric), which is on all year round for guests to make the most of. The kitchen is also home to the cottage’s dining table, which can comfortably seat up to five guests.
At the top of the stairs is the Master Bedroom, this can either be made up as a king-sized bed or as a twin room, with two full size single beds. The bedroom is tastefully decorated, is wonderfully light and spacious and offers plenty of storage space.
Along the corridor and down a few steps is the second bedroom. This character bedroom has three single beds, and is perfect for any youngsters staying at Diana’s Cottage. (Please note: there is a low beamed ceiling within this room).
Both bedrooms share the family bathroom, which has a bath with shower overhead and wash basin. The WC is located next to the bathroom.
Diana’s Cottage benefits from its own private garden hidden behind a wood gate. The garden is large and mainly laid to lawn. There is plenty of outdoor furniture in the garden, as well as a charcoal BBQ and a selection of outdoor games.
Guests also have access to an outside tap, ideal for washing down muddy walking boots or sandy wetsuits.
Like many beautiful character cottages, please note: there are a number of steps within the cottage, and a low beamed ceiling within the 2nd bedroom.
